“Devious Maids” Season 4 Spoilers
Is Carmen a criminal? Roselyn Sanchez posted a set photo from behind bars while filming Season 4 of “Devious Maids.” Lifetime

Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time! And it looks like Roselyn Sanchez, who portrays Carmen on the hit Lifetime series “Devious Maids,” will be spending plenty of time behind bars come Season 4 of the summer drama.

Sanchez took a break from filming on Tuesday to post a behind-the-scenes photo to her Twitter account. In the image, fans of the Marc Cherry series can see the actress stuck in a jail cell while sporting a pouty face.

Does that mean audiences can anticipate Carmen to get locked up when “Devious Maids” returns for its fourth season, which will premiere Monday, June 6? And if so, what is the aspiring Hollywood star being incarcerated for? Well, we have a feeling it might have something to do with the murder that’s set to rock Beverly Hills in the upcoming season.

According to a press release for the forthcoming, 10-episode installment, “murder and mayhem will collide once again in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families.” And unfortunately for poor Carmen, it seems like she may be getting blamed for the homicide — after all, she was the one dating a killer in Season 3 of the sizzling, summer series.

The cast of “Devious Maids” teased that Season 4 would largely focus on uncovering who the murderer is through an Instagram video, which was inspired by Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me.”

“Then who was it?” Dania Ramirez, who plays Rosie, questions after Julie Claire, Susan Lucci, Ana Ortiz and Alejandro Vera deny their involvement.

Lucci, who stars in the series as Genevieve, promised audiences during an interview with International Business Times in February that Season 4 has managed to exceed the drama that took place in the third installment.

“We adored last season!” she told IBT. “We thought Season 3 was fantastic and we’re shooting Season 4 now [and] we’re all marveling, saying how could it be even better? I’m not just saying that so you watch [the show] — it’s honestly what we’re saying to each other. You be the judge … but we thin Season 4 is that much better.”

“Devious Maids” will return to Lifetime with its Season 4 premiere on Monday, June 6, at 9 p.m. EDT.
