The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not result in any grand prize winner for the estimated $490 million jackpot with a cash option of $355.1 million. The next drawing, which will take place on Saturday, will see the jackpot climb to $523 million with a $379 million cash value.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, Sept. 22 were 20, 40, 47, 55, 63, with a red Powerball pull of 5. The Power Play was 3X.

Even though there were no grand prize winners, there were a few instant millionaires that resulted from the latest drawing. A player from Florida and one from Maryland hit that hit the Match 5, winning $1 million each.

Meanwhile, a player from Pennsylvania matched five numbers with the 3X Power Play and won $2 million.

Aside from the few instant millionaires, there were also several smaller wins following the latest lottery drawing.

There were 18 players who hit Match 4 plus red Powerball pull and won $50,000 each. However, eight players managed to match four numbers plus the red Powerball with the 3X Power Play, winning $150,000.

The rest of the monetary winnings from the night ranged between $4 and $300.

Players who win the Powerball jackpot can receive their winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Winners who choose the annuity receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, which increase by 5% every year.

Powerball is played in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
