Prince Harry was recently accused of dressing inappropriately at the “Lion King” premiere on Sunday night.

Etiquette expert William Hanson reportedly criticized the Duke of Sussex for wearing a “ready-made” bow tie to the red-carpet event. He also said that even though Prince Harry arrived at the venue in a suit, he wasn’t necessarily wearing a dress shirt for the occasion.

But on the online forum site Quora, royal fans quickly came to the new dad’s defense. Carol Robin, an optimistic realist, said that Prince Harry was actually properly dressed as he should have been, and there was nothing wrong with his outfit.

Anne Taylor, a former staff nurse, said that Daily Mail just published Hanson’s tweet to sell their story. Taylor also said that the Duke of Sussex’s bow tie actually looked straight, smart, and tidy.

Royal fan Wallis West said that the recent criticisms are just so silly. After looking at Prince Harry’s photo, West said that Markle’s wife looked just fine and he was also very neat.

Graham Short, a resident of the United Kingdom, said that there shouldn’t be an issue if Prince Harry’s bowtie was ready-made.

“Of course Harry looked smart and tidy, but the etiquette man is right about the bowtie and shirt. Bow ties today are ready-made… It makes life much easier… But Prince Harry should have been wearing a pleated dress shirt. I have two and I’m not a Prince,” he said.

Mackenzie Alexander said that it seems Prince Harry couldn’t care less about the criticisms.

“Harry clearly doesn’t have or doesn’t listen to a valet. He has appeared on several occasions of late disheveled and scruffy and I believe it’s either another subliminal ‘up yours’ to everyone or basically he cannot be bothered to adhere to traditional dress rules,” she said.

Prince Harry was joined by his wife at the “Lion King” premiere. While there, they met Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The singer voiced the character of Nala in the film.
