Diddy recently opened up about his thoughts on the upcoming presidential election and slammed President Donald Trump while officially endorsing Joe Biden.

Diddy joined Charlamagne Tha God to discuss the upcoming 2020 presidential election. During their conversation, the rapper said he believes Trump has divided the people with his racist comments.

"If Trump gets elected, I really do believe in my heart there will be a race war," Diddy said at the start of the video posted by Revolt TV.

"That's why this message is not just to Black people. I'm saying this message to everybody, this man is really trying to turn us against each other and puts us in a situation ... America messed up."

Diddy went on saying there is no other choice but to get Trump out of office and put Biden in his position.

"When you look at it, we don't have no choice, you know what I'm saying? You can say what you want about Biden ... I can't say I love to pick either, but hey, we got to get him in office and then we got to get him accountable," he added.

Diddy also shared a clip of their conversation on Twitter with the caption, "White men like Trump need to be banished." However, many people didn't like his message, and even questioned why he involved the issue of race.

"Saying people should be banished based on their race & gender is not very nice," one commented.

"really Diddy? they got u too? got some skeletons u are trading with? what a mess..i use to think u had brains, get Trump out of office? PLS WHY? ..&dont come here talking about race..cos u sat ur behind dr 4 years watching d killings in chicago & prisons swelling with ur brothers," another wrote.

"I thought diddy was one of the smart black guys in america but it's clearly obvious his too deep into that dark dirty money to stand for the truth," @JesseJe4444 commented.

A different user commented that the same can be said for Biden, yet he was endorsing him. Many also slammed Diddy for allegedly knocking down so many black men and that he too, should be banished like what he wants for Trump.

However, several Twitter users also supported Diddy and agreed with him.

"Love vs hate we are in a war. This is so true," one wrote.

"So dog gone true! I do agree with that Diddy!!! Amen," another added.

During the conversation, Diddy also opened up about his own political party, Our Black Party, that aims to cultivate change and address the needs of Black Americans. He stressed that the party is for every Black person regardless if he is a Democrat, Republican or Independent because its goal is to unify the Black community, so they can seize their political power.

The "Godzilla" singer wasn’t the first celebrity to endorse Biden. A few weeks back, Dwayne Johnson also endorsed Biden and Kamala Harris.
