Doe Doe Shannon Updates Fans On Mama June’s Family Amid Reality Star’s Absence From Social Media

Joanne Doe Doe Shannon shared some updates on Mama June’s family amid the reality star’s noticeable absence on social media.

The 56-year-old We TV star recently got the chance to visit and spend some time with Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon’s newborn baby, Bentley Jameson. Doe Doe uploaded several snaps of the newest addition to the brood of Mama June’s 21-year-old daughter.

Since many fans raised questions about Mama June, 41, and her youngest daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 15, in the comments section of her posts, Doe Doe decided to break her silence and respond to the inquiries.

“Does pumpkin not have Alana anymore? She never post her,” one fan asked since Honey Boo Boo, who has been under the care of Pumpkin when their mom walked away from them in 2019, has not been present in any of her de-facto guardian’s recent posts.

“Alana is still there just a busy teenager,” Doe Doe responded, assuring the fan that Alana is still living with her sister and Pumpkin’s husband, 25-year-old Josh Efird. Mama June’s older sister added that the former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star is turning 16 at the end of August.

Another fan asked Doe Doe if Mama June was there, too, when she visited her niece’s family to see Baby Bentley for the first time. Unfortunately, the famous matriarch was not around, according to her sister.

“No just me, [her daughter] Amber, [her grandchild] Bryan, Lauryn and the kids for most of the day. Did get to see Josh and Alana but missed Jessica [Mama June’s other daughter],” she replied.

Other fans quickly wondered why Mama June has not been around and has not even posted anything on her social media accounts about the birth of her grandson even though she and her daughters already patched things up before “Mama June: From Not To Hot” Season 5 wrapped up in June. However, Doe Doe did not respond to those questions anymore.

Though it’s not clear why Mama June has gone silent on Instagram since she presented an award at the American Reality Television Awards early this month, fans will likely see more of her and her family once their reality show returns for Season 6.
