Does ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Tom Regret Apologizing To Darcey For Weight Comment?

“90 Day Fiancé” star Darcey Silva and Tom Brooks had a nasty break up in New York City that ended with the UK resident making a rude comment about his ex’s weight. However, in the upcoming episode, Tom will travel to Connecticut to apologize for his behavior.

Although viewers will see Tom give Darcey a heartfelt apology on camera, off-camera, it appears the Brit may not have been as sincere as he claimed to be.

On Saturday, Tom used his Instagram Story to post a meme that appeared to be directed at the upcoming “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” episode. The image featured a tiger with its paw covering its face. The post read, “When you go to apologise and realise their [sic] at home.”

In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode that was shared by E! News, Tom traveled to Darcey’s house following their tense split. “I’ve decided, foolishly or not, to go to Connecticut to deliver the letter that I wrote to Darcey. I feel badly about how things happened in New York, and I’d like to make them right,” Tom explained in a confessional.

Darcey was shocked to find Tom on her doorstep and was not happy to see him, but he insisted on speaking to her. “I wanted to come and apologize for the way things ended yesterday,” Tom tells her.

“That’s not what I wanted it to be like. And, I always tried to treat you with respect, and yesterday I didn’t. I’m sorry for that.”

However, she wasn’t impressed with what he had to say. “I don’t need any fake apology. Nope,” she said in her confessional.

On Sunday, Tom replied to a fan in the comment section, who asked why he disrespected Darcey. “Did you really have to be so mean to her? A jibe about weight? I thought you were better than that… dear me,” the fan wrote.

“Well, it was a wonderful edit great for tv drama … the argument was 7 hours long, and the following day I went to apologise … it’s funny I have never see [sic] someone else in 4 years apologize for anything said or done,” Tom replied.

“90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
