'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 84 Leaks, Spoilers: Pride Of The Warrior Race

Dragon Ball creator Toyotarou's drafts for the opening pages of Chapter 84 give a sneak peek at the moments when Goku realizes the pride of being a Saiyan.

The title of "Dragon Ball Super" Chapter 84 is "Pride of the Warrior Race."

A Twitter user named DbsHype has shared the translation of the drafts. The chapter opens with Monaito telling Goku that Bardock left the planet as soon as he was able to move again and left a scouter behind.

Goku starts to remember seeing his parents from inside the Saiyan Pod when he was a baby. The next few frames focus on the life of Goku's parents on planet Vegeta.

Baby Goku is awakened by Bardock knocking on the pod's glass. Later, he is sent off the planet. The chapter shifts back to the present, Goku tells Vegeta that he now understands what Saiyan pride is.

Vegeta states that he also knows he must embrace the pride of being a Saiyan. Witnessing Goku and Vegeta understanding the true nature of a Saiyan, Monaito smiles as he is impressed by how Bardock has passed on his will.

Elsewhere, Granolah is unconscious. The last page of "Dragon Ball Super" Chapter 84 draft shows Gas flying toward Goku and Vegeta, indicating the continuation of their battle in the new chapter.

"Having defeated Boo, Goku is starting to get bored with his life on Earth. His wife, Chi-chi, wants him to get a job, but all he wants to do is train and fight stronger enemies. Elsewhere in the universe, the God of Destruction, Beerus, and his attendant Whis are traveling from planet to planet in search of food and entertainment," read the official synopsis of the series, as per Manga Plus.

"After blowing up some hapless victims, Beerus is reminded of a man from his dreams with the moniker 'Super Saiyan God,' or something like that... The God of Destruction sets his sights on Earth to track down this mysterious man! Maybe this will give Goku something to do?" it continued.

"Dragon Ball Super" Chapter 84 is scheduled for release on May 19. The chapter will be available online on Viz and Manga Plus.
