Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was allegedly shot by Tory Lanez recently, slammed Draya Michele for making fun of the incident. Michele apologized for the comments following a backlash.

It began when Michele appeared on Steelo Brim's "Wine and Weed" podcast where she joked about what must have happened between Stallion and Lanez.

"I predict that they had some sort of Bobby and Whitney love that drove them down this type of road. I’m here for it. I like that," she joked on the podcast.

"I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too," she added. The comments drew a lot of criticism.

Stallion too took to Twitter to slam Michele for her comments.

"Dumb b---h that s--t ain’t f--king funny who tf jokes about getting shot by a n---a," Stallion first tweeted.

"And f--k all the h-- a-- has making jokes about it too I’ll talk about s--t when I get ready," she wrote in another tweet.

Following the backlash, Michele decided to issue an apology.

"I truly don’t glorify domestic violence… I was trying to say just love me deeply. But while trying to be funny, I offended many, including meg. And I’m sorry," she tweeted.

Stallion was allegedly shot by Lanez following an argument July 12. Stallion was taken to a hospital while Lanez was arrested.

"On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery," Stallion posted on Instagram.

She went on to call out to people who made memes about the incident.

"It might be funny to y’all on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about but this is my real life and I’m real life hurt and traumatized," she tweeted.
