Do you play “Fortnite?”

Do you own a PlayStation 4?

If it's a big YES, then you are eligible to take part in Epic Games' newest console-centric "Fortnite" tournament. The Celebration Cup is a two-day event that will start on February 14 where solo “Fortnite” players vie for the event's highest honors, in-game items and a jaw-dropping $1,000,000 in cash prizes.

There is, however, a catch. The Celebration Cup is open only to “Fortnite” players who own a PlayStation 4. In addition, they must have at least a level 15 “Fortnite” account and an Epic account with 2-Factor Authentication.

On Day 1, the Celebration Cup promises to reward the Top 50 players with a “Take Cover” Spray, while the Top 25 will enjoy a “Wild Accent” Pickaxe. Those on the Top 5 on the other hand will have a “Tango” outfit as their prize.

Come Day 2, each top-performing “Fortnite” player on their respective regional leaderboard will have an opportunity to win a share of the competition's $1,000,000 prize pool. Over 4,000 eligible players will duke it out for the moolah, though, so you best bring your A-game.

The Celebration Cup is part and parcel of Epic Games' effort to introduce “Fortnite” to a larger spectrum, including those that are representing their schools in accredited E-sports tournaments, said Engadget.
