A man escaped unhurt after an evacuation slide fell off a Delta Air Lines plane midflight onto his front yard. The incident took place Sunday afternoon at Milton, Massachusetts.

Wenhan Huang was working on his yard when a massive, inflatable slide fell from the sky all of a sudden. It reportedly damaged and broke several branches of his Japanese maple tree. However, no injuries or damage to property were reported.

The man said he quickly figured out that the slide belonged to a plane after noticing the word “Boeing” printed on the side.

"It's kind of crazy," Huang said. "Who could know there's something coming from the air and (it) drops into my yard, right?"

Huang informed the Milton police, who alerted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and someone from the agency arrived at his property and retrieved the equipment.

"It's pretty heavy. You can't even carry it. Maybe two or three people can lift it,” Huang said.

Delta Air Lines said the slide fell off Flight 405 from Paris-Charles De Gaulle Airport to Boston's Logan International Airport. According to reports, the plane landed safely.

“Delta is investigating an inflatable over-wing slide that was retrieved following an aircraft’s landing into Boston’s Logan Airport,” a spokesman said in a statement.

The Incident was being investigated jointly by the FAA and Delta Air Lines.
