  • McGregor and Mavrakis split in 2017 amid claims he was spotted kissing "Fargo" co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead

“Star Wars” star Ewan McGregor has been ordered by a judge to pay his ex-wife, Eve Mavrakis, half of the multi-million fortune he made during his acting career.

McGregor and the production designer finalized their divorce on Thursday, Aug. 13, over two years after he filed for divorce in January 2018. The actor has agreed to divide all the royalties from the movies and television shows he was a part of before their breakup in May 2017, People reported, citing judgment documents.

This amount will include half of the $3 million he earned for “Christopher Robin,” the live action-adventure film that came out in 2018, a year after their split.

Residuals and royalties from McGregor’s works like “Fargo,” the “Star Wars” prequels, the “Trainspotting” films, “Big Fish,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Emma” and “Now You See It,” among others, will also be split with his ex-wife as they are considered community property.

In addition to royalties, McGregor will pay Mavrakis $35,868 each month in spousal support, along with $14,934 in monthly child support. He will also set up a trust fund for their children's education.

Mavrakis will be getting five out of McGregor's collection of 35 vehicles, along with their $6.62 million Los Angeles home, $501,704 in cash and all of her jewelry, TMZ reported.

The exes will share both legal and physical custody of their youngest child, 9-year-old daughter Anouk. They have three other daughters — Clara, 24, Jamyan, 19, and Esther, 18.

McGregor and his wife of 22 years, Mavrakis, split in 2017 amid claims that he was spotted kissing his “Fargo” co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

McGregor’s eldest, Clara, made it clear that she was not happy with the separation in July 2018 after calling his new girlfriend “a piece of trash” while commenting on an Instagram photo of Winstead.

However, Clara later said her comments were ill-advised.

“It wasn’t the most mature way to go about things, but I was angry and upset,” she told The Times U.K. “There had been a lot building up to it and a lot to deal with — not to make excuses or anything — but, yeah, it wasn’t my finest moment.”

After winning the Golden Globe in 2018, McGregor thanked both his ex-wife and girlfriend in his acceptance speech.

“I’ve always loved being an actor and hanging out with actors and I got amazing actors to work with on this and it wouldn’t be any Emmett or Stassi without David, Michael, Carrie Coon and there would be no Rey without Mary Elizabeth Winstead so thank you very much,” he said.

Thanking his ex-wife, McGregor said, “I want to take a moment to thank Ev, who always stood beside me for 22 years and my four children, I love you.”
