A family in Australia who were out for a dip in their pool had an unwelcome swim buddy in the waters -- a deadly snake.

Snake catcher Stuart McKenzie with the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 took to Facebook on Thursday to share the incident.

He said that the family called him after noticing a deadly snake swimming beside them in the pool. McKenzie rushed to the home and confirmed it was a deadly Eastern Brown Snake.

"With it being stinking hot the last week snakes have been on the move big time and some have even decided to take a dip in some family's swimming pools," McKenzie wrote.

"A family in Sippy Downs were swimming in their pool when they noticed a small stripey snake swimming in there with them. They did the right thing and called us and we came over straight away and relocated the stunning Eastern Brown Snake elsewhere back out into the bush," he added.

The video of the rescue shows the snake catcher picking up the reptile from the pool with his bare hands. He then places the snake in a blue bag and shows it to the family. McKenzie also gives the children some information about the snake before leaving their house. The clip cuts to him releasing the reptile into the wild.

The clip has since gone viral with people calling the reptile "beautiful." Some people appreciated the snake catcher for interacting with the children and educating them about snakes.

"Gotta love the way you guys let the kids interact. The more education on these stunning animals, the better," one person commented.

Last month, McKenzie shared an incident wherein a deadly snake was found curled up around the base of the toilet. He said he received a call saying that a deadly snake was found in the toilet of a local business. The caller said that a staff member sat down on the toilet and "heard a hiss." McKenzie immediately rushed to the scene and safely removed the snake from the bathroom before releasing it into the wild.
