A Florida woman remained in police custody Wednesday for allegedly killing her boyfriend after zipping him up inside a suitcase and recording his pleas for help.

Sarah Boone, 42, was arrested in Winter Park, Florida, on Tuesday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for the death of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres, Jr. He was allegedly killed Monday in the couple’s home, where his body was inside one of the couple’s suitcases.

Boone was transferred to Orange County Jail and is being held on charges of murder.

Police said Boone called 911 on Monday, reportedly saying Torres was unresponsive inside one of their suitcases. Emergency responders arrived shortly after Boone called 911 and declared Torres dead at the scene.

She reportedly told investigators the two had been drinking when they decided to play “hide-n-seek” and she helped zip him into the suitcase as a joke. She allegedly went upstairs and passed out while Torres was still in the suitcase. Boone said she allegedly woke up to multiple missed calls from Torres and rushed downstairs to get him out of the suitcase.

However, the sheriff’s office said it reportedly found a video that disproved Boone’s statements. Torres can allegedly be heard screaming for help inside the suitcase, saying he can’t breathe, while Boone yells and curses at him.

“Yeah, that's what you do when you choke me,” Boone allegedly said. “Oh, that's what I feel like when you cheat on me.”
