  • The Joker and Poison Ivy will be part of "The Last Laugh Bundle," a villain-themed package for "Fortnite" rolling out on November 17
  • The previously offered Batman, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman skins have also returned for a limited time to the Fortnite Item Shop
  • Epic Games said that it will soon share how mobile players will be able to buy the bundle despite recent issues with Google and Apple

In anticipation of this weekend’s DC Fandome event, “Fortnite” is preparing to welcome The Joker and Poison Ivy skins to the popular game.

Rolling out November 17 is “The Last Laugh Bundle,” a villain-themed package that includes skins for The Joker and Poison Ivy, as well as the new Midas Rex outfit for Fortnite antagonist Midas, notes Digital Trends.

Purchasing the bundle will also give players access to the Laugh Riot Back Bling, Bad Joke Pickaxe, The Joker’s Revenge Pickaxe, and the Pick a Card Emote, in addition to 1,000 V-Bucks.

The Last Laugh Bundle will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. That November release date also means that it will arrive just in time for the holiday releases that have been announced for both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Although the recent issues between Epic Games and Apple and Google do not currently have “Fortnite” on either the App Store or the Google Play Store, the developer said that it will soon share how mobile players will be able to buy the bundle.

The previously offered Batman, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman skins have also returned for a limited time to the Fortnite Item Shop, giving players another chance of acquiring the DC outfits.

The impending return of these skins as well as the announcement regarding The Last Laugh Bundle comes mere days before the virtual 24-hour event known as DC Fandome starts on August 22.

During DC Fandome, Rocksteady Studios is expected to share details on the video game called “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” while Warner Bros. Montreal will formally introduce a new Batman video game following the “Arkham” series.

“Fortnite” from Epic Games first arrived on PC in 2017; featuring a mode called “Save the World,” players could jump online with a group of friends to collect resources, build structures, and defend against waves of zombie-like creatures called Husks.

The game only really soared in popularity, however, with the release of its free-to-play mode known as “Battle Royale.” Today, “Fortnite: Battle Royale” has become a cultural phenomenon, and is the most popular online video game in the U.S.
