The heroes, including the fan favorite sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel), of "Frozen" will embark on a new adventure that will be filled the challenges and obstacles. From the trailer of the film to the songs, here’s everything that is known about the highly anticipated "Frozen 2."

The "Frozen 2" trailer that was released earlier this year showed Elsa trying to cross an ocean but failing to overcome the massive waves even after repeated attempts. Is she trapped on an island? None of the other characters was with Elsa when she tried to use her magic to cross the waves.

One of the scenes shows Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) riding a reindeer while surrounded by other reindeers in the woods. It isn’t clear what he is running away from or running towards.

The gang will get back together in the film. According to the plot of the film, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf (Josh Gad) will travel far into the forest to learn the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom.

Two big characters will be joining in “Frozen 2.” Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood will be lending their voices to the new characters, Entertainment Weekly reported. Details of the two new characters, as well as the other new characters, are yet to be released online.

Just like the first film, the sequel will also be full of songs and music. Just as the “Let It Go” song became a big hit, the upcoming film also has a main song that co-director Jennifer Lee is already a fan of.

In a previous interview with Variety, Lee said that she loved the new song that Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez have delivered. The song has been compared to “Let It Go,” but Lee said that it was “its own song.” The director also confirmed that there are at least four songs in the film.

“Frozen 2” is set to be released on Nov 22. Lee co-directed the film with Chris Buck.
