With the recent announcement that Lennie James’ Morgan Jones is crossing over from “The Walking Dead” to “Fear the Walking Dead,” Colman Domingo has concluded that it’s also possible for his “Fear the Walking Dead” character Victor Strand to appear on the mothership series in the future.

“I think that could work,” Domingo told Express. “There’s no telling what Victor could do. I think he’s a master of surprises and if he turned up on ‘The Walking Dead,’ I wouldn’t be surprised.”

When asked which side (Team Rick or Team Negan) Strand would pick if he ended up crossing over to “The Walking Dead,” Domingo said that he can’t exactly say. “You never know with Victor,” said the 48-year-old actor. “He would assess the situation whatever moment he is in and make a decision based on that moment.”

“What I love about [‘The Walking Dead’] universe is that if you're following Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), you need know what side you would be on, and the same with Rick (Andrew Lincoln). It’s all about perspective,” he continued.

James’ move to “Fear the Walking Dead” was revealed during Nov. 26 episode of “Talking Dead,” in which the actor appeared a surprise guest. “Yeah, it’s me. I’m joining the cast of ‘Fear the Walking Dead,” James told “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick via satellite from Austin, Texas, where the zombie drama moved its production.

“From the very first moment the whole suggestion of Morgan going over to ‘Fear the Walking Dead,’ the hardest part of that, from beginning to now, has been leaving ‘The Walking Dead.’ Leaving that cast, leaving that crew,” added James, who started filming “Fear the Walking Dead” on Nov. 27. “I’ve said my goodbyes to the cast and I’ve said my goodbyes to the crew. … That show stands or falls on the back of that crew. And I’m going to miss them very much.”

While a lot of fans think that James’ Morgan will appear in just one or two episodes of “Fear the Walking Dead,” sources told Entertainment Weekly that Morgan is actually a series regular in Season 4 of the zombie drama.

“Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 will premiere on AMC sometime next year.
