Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” has been making the rounds with the press promoting “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Pt. 1,” in which she plays Cressida. However, along the way the actress has been spilling some “Game of Thrones” scoop, including the news that her character may be in the same predicament as Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright).

Appearing Monday on TBS' “Conan,” Dormer told host Conan O’Brien that after Season 5, she will join Bran in limbo as the show continues to catch up to George R.R. Martin’s books.

“I just finished filming Season 5,” Dormer told O’Brien, “and we’re around the area where we were up to with Margaery in the books, so I’m entering into the fraternity of what the f--- is going to happen to me now.” Dormer added that if she was killed off she would prefer to die by “white walker” or dragon.

Margaery’s conundrum on “Game of Thrones” is becoming common. Season 4 of the show began covering the fifth book in Martin’s “Songs of Ice and Fire” series and Season 5 is likely to cover the rest of book five. Martin has not yet finished the sixth book (of a planned seven), meaning HBO is running out of narrative real estate. Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran, will already be absent from Season 5 because the show is up to date on his storyline in the released books

Last fans saw of Margaery Tyrell, she was set to marry Tommen Baratheon (Dean Charles Chapman) after Joffrey’s (Jack Gleeson) murder. She had begun courting Tommen in secret to gain influence over the new king. In the books Margaery will go on to marry Tommen, but finds herself imprisoned when Cersei (Lena Headey) drums up false charges of adultery in an effort to remove her from her son’s life. However, the plan will eventually backfire on Cersei when her plot is revealed, leading to her recently filmed penance walk.

Season 5 of “Game of Thrones” will premiere in April 2015 and fans will get to see what happens next with Margaery Tyrell. However, beyond that remains a mystery to everyone except George R.R. Martin. With the show rapidly catching up, the sixth book can’t come fast enough.
