Sunday’s episode of “Game of Thrones” has gotten reactions from fans all over the spectrum. But one fan that was extremely happy with the episode was none other than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Warning: this article contains spoilers.

Rodgers took to Instagram on Sunday night to confirm he made a special appearance in the series’ penultimate episode, “The Bells.” He appeared as a member of the Lannister army, one of the many people in King’s Landing to suffer the wrath of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Drogon during her army’s siege on the capital city.

Rumors about Rodgers’ short cameo had been running rampant in the weeks leading up to the penultimate episode.

“I have a bit of inside information about who is alive in one of the episodes, but I'll share that down the line,” Rodgers teased to reporters on April 23. He further stoked the fires earlier the week of the episode, tweeting “Episode 5 should be good.”

Rodgers has been an extremely vocal fan of the show as well, talking about it previously on shows like “The Dan Patrick Show.” His fandom has even translated to the football field, shooting a Jon Snow-style promo for the Lambeau Field Atrium to greet fans and was even shared on the “Game of Thrones” Twitter account.
