It will be a day of concern for the residents of Port Charles as they realize their loved ones may be hiding the truth. On the Wednesday, Sept. 19 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael will confide in Carly as Nina questions Maxie.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Michael (Chad Duell) tells Carly (Laura Wright) he is not ok and she lets her son know he doesn’t have to go through this alone. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Carly is desperate to help Michael.

Michael has been putting on a brave face ever since he attended the funeral for his baby boy. However, on the inside, he has been falling apart. Even though Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is in prison, she is still managing to torture Michael from behind bars.

Nelle told everyone her son died after she gave birth, but she actually switched newborns with Brad (Parry Shen), who is passing Michael’s baby boy off as his adopted son.

Carly is desperate to bring her son out of his state of mourning and there is no stopping her when she sets her mind to a specific goal. But how far will she take her latest mission? Will Carly’s determination to help her son expose Nelle and Brad’s secret baby swap?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Nina (Michelle Stafford) asks Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her encounter with Peter (Wes Ramsey) the other night. “GH” spoilers reveal Nina presses Maxie for answers.

The last time Nina saw Peter, he was shirtless and walking out of the elevator with Maxie. The moment was quite shocking for Nina since she and her sister-in-law still hold some resentment towards the man that could have prevented Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) death.

While she was wise not to jump to conclusions about the encounter, she may want to worry about how Maxie truly feels about Peter. During a conversation with Lulu (Emme Rylan), Maxie recalled her elevator debacle and couldn’t help but admit she took notice of Peter’s toned body.

Will Maxie allow herself to fall for Peter or will she try to hide her feelings in order to avoid hurting her loved ones?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
