The female “Ghostbusters” reboot is being shot in Boston. Director Paul Feig recently revealed the uniforms of the main characters. He shared a behind-the-scenes shot on Instagram where four khaki-colored jumpsuits can be seen hanging on a rack.

The uniforms feature orange stripes on the front and a Ghostbusters logo on the right sleeve. A pair of boots can be seen alongside each uniform. Each costume is tagged with the name of an actress, including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Feige captioned the post as “#whatyougonnawear.” The uniforms look similar to the costumes worn by male Ghostbusters in the Ivan Reitman-directed 1984 film. However, the new uniforms don’t have the last name of the characters stitched on the chest area, as in the original. Also, the orange stripes are a new addition.

The official names of the characters have not been revealed, but it has been rumored that Wiig and McCarthy will play Erin Gilbert and Abby Bergman, whereas McKinnon will play Jillian Holtzmann and Jones will play Patty Tolan.

According to the Boston Herald, Wigg and McCarthy’s characters will write a book claiming that ghosts are real. A few years later, Wiig’s character will take a job at Columbia University but she will be laughed out of academia after the book resurfaces. She will reunite with McCarthy and “the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers,” to take revenge for being criticized -- and will save New York City from a ghost invasion.

The film also will feature interesting special effects. “My whole crew from all my other movies have come aboard, and some great special effects people have come aboard -- I have never really done this level of effects before -- and I’m excited,” Feig told Empire Online.

Feig is directing and has also written the screenplay with Kate Dippold. Chris Hemsworth stars as a receptionist. Amy Pascal is the producer. The film will open July 22, 2016.
