It looks like both coffee and trouble are brewing on the set of Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls” revival.

Sean Gunn, who portrays Kirk Gleason in the Amy Sherman-Palladino dramedy, recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the upcoming series. In the picture, taken inside Luke’s Diner, Gunn can be seen channeling his eccentric, job-hopping character as he strikes a silly pose with his co-star Scott Patterson, who plays the oh-so-serious Luke Danes.

But annoyed as Patterson’s baseball cap-sporting character may look in the first image, the actor proved he had nothing but love for Gunn when he snapped a second photo.

“Caption this photo,” Gunn challenged fans on Instagram after posting the picture to his account, adding the hashtags #starshollow #lukesdiner.

Many fans flocked to the comment section, stating their excitement to see the actors together again. However, others pointed out something extremely ironic about Patterson’s selfie.

Throughout the seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls,” Luke was adamant about having a no cell phone policy in his establishment. But it seems after nine, long years, Luke has changed his tune! In the photo, Gunn’s followers can see Patterson snapping a selfie in Luke’s restaurant, completely disobeying his character’s no cell phone rule.

But when the director finally calls action during the filming of the “Gilmore Girls” revival, it looks like Luke’s no phone policy will go back into effect. During an interview with International Business Times, Patterson dished that fans will feel back at home when they reenter Luke’s Diner.

“Let’s just say that in terms of Luke’s Diner not a lot has changed,” he teased.

A premiere date for the Netflix revival of “Gilmore Girls” has not been announced.
