Prepare to be scared! In October, everyone’s favorite fictional “Goosebumps” goblins and ghouls will be coming to life in Rob Letterman’s 2015 film, based on R.L. Stine’s spooky children’s book series.

Audiences got a chilling sneak peek of the campy thriller, starring Jack Black as the mastermind behind the eerie novels, in April during CinemaCon in Las Vegas. But now the trailer has been released to the public!

In the video, viewers are introduced to Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette), a young boy who has been forced to move to Greendale, Maryland. His dramatic trek to The Old Line State only becomes intense when he learns he’s moving next door to the man who is responsible for his nightmares -- the creator of the “Goosebumps” books.

Zach learns the identity of the “psychopath” next door after he slips into the adjacent house to investigate a scream caused by the neighbor girl, Hannah (Odeya Rush). That’s when he uncovers hundreds of “Goosebumps” manuscripts, one of which he unlocks.

“Oh, no...” R.L. Stine (Black) says when he learns what Zach did.

Next thing Zach knows, the Abominable Snowman from the “Goosebumps” novel “The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena” comes to life before his eyes.

“The Abominable Snowman just crawled out of a book! That doesn’t just happen,” Zach’s friend says to him after witnessing to jaw-dropping event. But little do the boys know that their monstrous journey had just begun. Following the Snowman’s lead, every villainous character crawls out of Stine’s stories and begins to wreck havoc on the small Maryland town.

“You just released every monster I ever created,” R.L. Stine says to Zach. Yep, that means movie-goers will get to see the Invisible Boy, The Lawn Gnomes, the Wicked Clown and all the other fear-inducing characters come to life.

The film will follow the trio of teens and Stine as they attempt to save the town by sucking the “Goosebumps” creatures back into their books. But will they be able to take on all of R.L. Steins terrifying creations? Audiences will find out this fall when “Goosebumps” hits theaters -- in 3D -- on Friday, Oct. 16.
