In a similar horrific tragedy, a 2-year-old boy was strangled and killed by his grandparents in Siberia in 2020. The incident came to light when the parents of the unnamed boy found his charred remains and called the cops. Police later learned that the boy was strangled and thrown into a hot stove after his grandparents got irritated by his screaming and crying. It was believed that they were intoxicated at the time of the crime. Police eventually arrested the two elderly suspects on charges of murder.
