While candy, costumes and treats are often the focus of Halloween, the main point of the holiday is to literally scare yourself into oblivion. Thankfully, several TV channels and streaming services are allowing viewers to do just that with a whole bunch of Halloween themed programming.

From specials to movie marathons, here are a few of the options available for scaring yourself silly this Halloween:

SundanceTV:

The cable channel will have a three-day movie marathon devoted to Halloween, beginning on Sunday, Oct. 29:

  • Sunday, Oct. 29: "Sunday Bloody Sunday: Stephen King Marathon," featuring "Cujo," "Firestarter," "Silver Bullet," "Christine," "Carrie," and "Misery." Marathon begins at 6 a.m. EDT/ 5 a.m. Central.
  • Monday, Oct. 30: "Sci-Fi Monday," featuring "The Omega Man," "2001: A Space Odyssey," "Westworld," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," and "Escape from New York." Marathon begins at 12 p.m. EDT/ 11 a.m. Central.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 31: "Beetlejuice Marathon," featuring the cult classic movie airing back-to-back six times, beginning at 1 p.m. EDT/ 12 p.m. Central.

WGN America:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 31: "Monster M*A*S*H Halloween Horror Night," featuring five hours of M*A*S*H's biggest Halloween tricks from 2-7 p.m. EDT. This will be followed by showings of "Child's Play 2" at 7 and 11 p.m. EDT, and "Child's Play 3" at 9 p.m. EDT.

Sundance Now:

Those who utilize the Sundance Now streaming service can already have access to several heart-stopping programming options based on both real events and legends. Options include "Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th," which chronicles the history of the horror movie franchise; "Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy," which looks into the origins of Freddy Krueger; "The Tall Man," which sees Jessica Biel 's character unraveling the legend of the Tall Man while looking for her missing child; "The Violence Movie;" and the Sundance Now exclusive "Rillington Place," which follows the real murders by serial killer John Christie.

Crackle:

Those using the Sony free streaming service have access to a whole slew of Halloween related content throughout the month of October, including the original series "SuperMansion: Drag me to Halloween," as well as several other movies and TV shows. Their lineup is as follows:
