While Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” has spawned multiple video iterations, not all of them necessarily go as planned.

In this video uploaded to YouTube, one group's version of the dance sensation created by New York electronic musician Harry Bauer Rodrigues (his stage name is Baauer) goes horribly wrong when some fire pyrotechnics they rigged on the hood of a car pops and explodes, knocking a man dancing in front of the car down.

When the worst seems to be over, the fire flares up as they attempt to put it out with water; however, they manage to get the flame under control by snuffing it out with some shirts.

A warning for headphone users: Turn down your volume a bit -- your ears will thank you.
