Joining a multitude of historical figures who have graced the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Kanye West will be enlivening the venue with his own eccentric opera act later this month. More than music, the Hollywood Bowl itself represents a long history of artistic talent, from the likes of violinist Jascha Heifetz to acoustician Christopher Jaffe and Stevie Wonder.

The opera presented by West at Hollywood Bowl will be called “Kanye West: Nebuchadnezzar- An Opera.” West tweeted out a picture for the invite, which was designed by Nick Knight, on Nov. 17. Hollywood Bowl then confirmed the act within a quoted retweet of West’s post, stating its official premiere as Nov. 24 at 4 p.m.

Judged alone by the fact that West considers himself the greatest of all time in music (as he so exclaimed amid his recent appearance at Joel Osteen’s Sunday service) the opera is yet another art form for the 42-year-old rapper to tackle. As it so happens, West consistently looks beyond the controversies and continues to expound upon his faith.

Directed by Vanessa Beecroft, “Nebuchadnezzar” appears to reminiscence past acts by West, specifically “Watch the Throne,” which featured similar Egyptian themes and gold opulence. The invite posted by West does specifically state that music will be of Sunday Service variety, featuring Peter Colins and Infinities Song.

West has maintained a relatively busy schedule as of late, having first released his “Jesus is King" album in October followed by his appearance on James Cordon’s “Carpool Karaoke” that same month. His newest opera rendition promises to showcase more of the artist’s talent by tacking on an additional art form to his burgeoning resume.

Tickets for “Nebuchadnezzar” go on sale HERE at 10 a.m. PST on Monday.
