Meghan Markle has been influencing a lot of changes in the royal family and she is expected to do more in the coming months.

According to a royal expert, the Duchess of Sussex could even make the British clan more popular than the Kardashians. E! News chief royal correspondent Melanie Bromley said that Prince Harry’s wife could bring a celebrity-like twist to the monarchy.

“Meghan knows how to get celebrities involved; she knows how to tune into the gap. She’s got tons of very, very successful, very influential friends – Serena Williams or Priyanka Chopra – people who are in the same field covering different spheres of it… That is something that could really help the royal family as well,” she told Express.

Bromley went on to say that Markle could also help Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton with their desire to make a difference in a big way. Markle could contribute to this by fostering the mass appeal of the royal family all thanks to her former career as a Hollywood actress.

“The royal family have been able to keep their celebrity while remaining as mysterious as they ever were. Some of the walls have come down, like William, Harry and Kate definitely have by talking about mental health… But for the most part, we are not seeing what Harry and Meghan are having for dinner tonight – we get glimpses, we’re given bits of information and not a lot,” she said.

But in recent times, the members of the royal family are understanding that being celebrities and having the power of mass appeal is very helpful for their end goal of leaving an impact and making a difference.

Meanwhile, other royal experts don’t necessarily acknowledge Markle’s contribution to the royal family. In fact, one of them even dubbed the Duchess of Sussex as a degree wife because he thinks that her marriage to Prince Harry will only last for 3 years.
