The girlfriend of one of the four men murdered in Pennsylvania reacted to her boyfriend Thomas Meo's death in a heartfelt Facebook post. Cosmo DiNardo and Sean Kratz, two 20-year-old cousins, were both charged Friday with criminal homicide after DiNardo confessed to killing each of the boys.

“Tom. My sweet, precious Tom. I am overwhelmed with all that has happened over the course of the past few days. Whatever I write here will not and cannot do his beautiful soul any justice,” Loralynn Ingreso wrote, the same day the killers were charged. She described Meo as “loyal,” “respectful,” and her “best friend.”

On Sunday night, the Pennsylvania community held a vigil to remember the four missing young men — 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, 21-year-old Meo, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro and 19-year-old Jimi Tar Patrick — who were killed and their remains were found on a 68-acre property belonging to DiNardo’s parents. All four victims were shot and at least three were set afire.

Following Sunday's vigil, Patrick's grandparents thanked investigators "who worked so long and hard to bring our boys home."

"We, as a group, made the decision to forgo the death penalty for the defendant in return for locating our grandson. Our deep thanks to this strong group of friends," they said in a statement given to local reporters.

Patrick's close friend Kaitlyn Masone, 19, of Newtown Township, also spoke out.

"When I saw his picture on the news that he was missing, I turned to my mom and said, 'He'll be OK. He'll be home soon,'" Masone told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

While the motive of the killing is yet to be clear, reports say DiNardo murdered the men after a drug deal with the victims went awry.

Tom. My sweet, precious Tom. I am overwhelmed with all that has happened over the course of the past few days. Whatever I write here will not and cannot do his beautiful soul any justice. Tom was such an integral part of my time in Philadelphia. I would often marvel at the thought that he was there for just about 75% of it. He was and still is my best friend. I met him at the end of 2015. From the start, our time together was an adventure, he brought me to the top of that parking garage to enjoy a view of the city as we shared some tunes and were surprised with just how much we had in common. From that night I knew he had my heart, which was terrifying, but one of the best feelings in the world.

Tom was a man who kept to his word. He was loyal, respectful, understanding, and patient. I know this because he wasn’t like that just to me, but even to my own friends and strangers.Tom never allowed preconceptions or judgements to hinder him from connecting with others. Tom enjoyed conversation and getting to hear people out. He loved loved loved asking questions about things that didn’t make sense. Tom had an innate selfless nature about him. I recall him offering to give my friend a ride to the library because it was dark out and snowing pretty hard. That memory has always stuck out to me, because I don’t know if I would have even done that if I had a car, I was selfishly thinking about the loss of a parking spot.He always came out to see me after an exhausting day at work. Even if it meant driving over an hour in traffic just to spend a couple of hours awake with me before falling asleep, Tom would be there - always. He loved me unconditionally and made me feel like the most beautiful, special girl in the world.

I can write more and tell countless stories about Tom that prove that he has a heart of gold. I am heartbroken, sad, and confused. I am in awe of the amount of love and support from family, friends, and strangers. God has blessed me with Tom’s presence in my life. Tom is one of the biggest blessings that God could have given me. The Lord continues to bless me with His everlasting love, peace, protection, and grace... I ask for the continuation of prayers for the families affected by this tragedy. Tom is forever my sweet angel boy. I love you so much Tom, more than you know.
