The whole world is still in shock with the untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who passed away at the age of 34. The actor was known for delivering hit movies like “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!” “Kai Po Che,” and “Chhichhore.”

As many people are still trying to wrap their minds around the star’s death, the International Space University (ISU) has decided to pay an endearing tribute to the late superstar. The university posted an article on its website saying how they are deeply saddened by the “dramatic” news on the death of Singh Rajput.

The university further stated that the “PK” star was a “strong supporter” of STEM education and always believed that everyone should have access to it. It also highlighted the fact that he accepted an invitation to visit the university’s main campus in 2019, but the visit could not happen because of his work commitments.

“We are deeply saddened by the dramatic news on the death of well known Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Mr. Singh Rajput was a believer and a strong supporter of STEM education and was following ISU on social media. He had even accepted an invitation to visit ISU’s Central Campus in the summer of 2019 but other agenda priorities prevented him from traveling to Strasbourg,” the university said.

The university concluded the tribute by sending condolences to the family and friends of the late actor. The university also noted that Singh Rajput’s memory will always remain in the minds and hearts of his numerous followers across the globe.

“Our thoughts are with Sushant Singh Rajput, his family, and his friends. His memory will remain among his thousands of followers across India and all over the world,” the university wrote.

Before joining the industry, the late star was studying engineering and had a keen interest in the subjects related to astrophysics. He even visited the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to do some research on the movie “Chanda Mama Door Ke.”

Viki Rajani, the producer of the movie, shared a picture on Twitter in which Singh Rajput can be seen dressed as an astronaut and doing some sort of training.

Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. His domestic help called the police after he was found hanging by a bedsheet at his home. The reason behind his suicide remains unknown as the police have not recovered a suicide note.

Ironically, his last movie entitled “Chhichhore” revolved around suicide. In the movie, Rajput’s character motivates his son who could not take failure and attempts to commit suicide. He teaches his son to live life to the fullest, irrespective of failure.
