Rapper Jay-Z released his new album entitled “4:44” Thursday, and one of the bonus tracks has an unlikely guest vocalist.

The track “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” features the voice of his daughter Blue Ivy rapping an extended verse. The 45-second rap is getting mixed reviews on different platforms of social media.

Twitter users were ecstatic after listening to Blue Ivy’s incoherent but adorable freestyle rapping. While some compared her to some of the pioneers of rap, others were convinced she was gearing up to take home music awards starting next year.

Since comparisons are often made between North West, daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, and Blue Ivy, one Twitter user pointed out Kanye should do something similar and launch her daughter's career as early as Jay-Z did.

Instagram users could not hold back their emotions after the audio of Blue Ivy rapping on her father’s song went viral on the internet. “I died when she said ‘in my whole lyyyyfe!’ Like Blue you are 5 years old sis, what whole life is you talking about? too cute. That's my niece in real life,” wrote one Instagram user.

Another praised the genes of Jay-Z and Beyonce in the following manner: “She is more of a rap artist..... Love it. I must say her parents are lucky cause most times kids don't have same gift their parents have.”

Yet another person stated celebrity couples were wise to acknowledge the talent of their kids from an early age: “It's nice to see Jay and Bey encouraging her creativity. She out here spitting better bars than these rappers. She better get that BET award next year.”

Unlike other social media platforms, many Facebook users were not that enthused by Blue Ivy’s rap. In fact, many were irritated by the kind of hype her singing was receiving.

“Gay!! The only child that's lived up to their parents is Big Puns son Chris Rivers,” commented one user, while another said “So when you say hip hop is so s----- even my 5 year old kid can do it… there you go. Way to dumb your genre down jigga”

Two Facebook users took issues with the fact that some news outlets were implying the phrase “boom shakalaka” that Blue Ivy introduces in the song was invented by Jay-Z.

“Boom shakalaka was used in the 90's game NBA Jam, it has been popularized way before lame Z thought it was remotely cool to think he came up with it. Just saying... he's plagiarizes,” said a user. A second one said: “*forehead smack* remembering when drake said he coined YOLO and tried to sue Macy's and aviici thought 'sweet dreams' was his?”
