  • Ivanka Trump left netizens confused when she tagged Meat Loaf in her selfie with President Donald Trump Monday
  • Some Twitter users mocked Ivanka over the blunder
  • However, some supporters believe Ivanka tagging Meat Loaf in the post wasn't an accident

Ivanka Trump may have made another Twitter blunder after tagging one celebrity in a photo of her with President Donald Trump.

On Monday, the first daughter tweeted a beaming picture of herself on board Air Force One with her dad in the background busy with his phone. She shared the selfie while they were on their way to Georgia to campaign with the two Republican senatorial candidates ahead of the runoff election but left followers confused when she accidentally tagged singer Meat Loaf in the post.

Apart from Meat Loaf, who appeared in "Celebrity Apprentice" back in 2011, Ivanka tagged the GOP party, incumbent GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler and the White House’s social media director, Dan Scavino Jr.

Twitter users couldn't help but notice the seemingly unusual name among those tagged in Ivanka's post and shared their questions and theories.

"Why did she tag #Meatloaf," one asked.

"Ivanka Trump just had to do it. Tags her dad Meatloaf in picture," another commented.

"Can't fathom why Ivanka tagged Meat Loaf. Maybe Trump will rip off his mask on the last day of his presidency, revealing Meat Loaf Scooby-Doo style," a third user wrote.

"Wait do you think your dad is Meat Loaf?" another Twitter user wrote, before asking in a follow-up tweet, "Wait, IS your dad Meat Loaf?"

Some followers believe tagging Meat Loaf in the post wasn't an accident.

"It's hilarious you people think Meat Loaf doesn't do politics, and isn't close with the Trump family. You're also missing the obvious - what else would she have typed it for? You think she doesn't know that her dad isn't Meat Loaf? Start fighting that stupidity on the homefront," one supporter commented.

Others took the opportunity to show the Trump family some love, with one follower commenting, "God bless your family, thank you for all you do for our country. God bless you and yours."

"Thank you for all you are doing to save America. We will be forever indebted to you Mr president," another supporter wrote on her post.

If Ivanka had made a mistake in tagging Meat Loaf, this wouldn't be the first time she has committed this Twitter blunder. In October, she wished her sister Tiffany Trump a happy 27th birthday and shared a throwback photo of them but tagged the wrong social media account in her tweet.

Tiffany's real account is @TiffanyATrump, where she now has more than 900,000 followers. But Ivanka instead had tagged @TiffanyTrump, which is not a real account but a blank one created in May 2010 that has around 800 followers.

Fortunately, Tiffany still spotted Ivanka's birthday tribute and retweeted it despite the mishap, though this did not stop Twitter users from mocking her older half-sister over the mistake.

9. A report in The Hill claimed that Ivanka Trump was looking to take over the White House office space that the first lady would usually occupy. We have no idea how his wife Melania felt about this, but can definitely take a few guesses! Imagine if his daughter were the First Lady instead – it seems like that’s his dream come true. IBTimes
