James Corden was one of the many celebrities at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, but the late night talk show host got a little flustered when his guests started prodding him about the royal event.

The “Late Late Show” host was the one to bring up the Duchess of Sussex. Corden’s guest Max Greenfield, who is currently on “The Neighborhood,” actually starred opposite Meghan Markle in an old Comedy Central pilot, but the network didn’t pick up the show. Though it was filmed many years ago, a distributor recently bought the episode.

“I got some sort of email recently saying this person has bought it and they are putting it out,” Greenfield told Corden. “I was like, ‘Great. Good for you.’ I would assume they would have their reasons as to why they’re putting it out.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Artist Rights Distribution nabbed the rights for North America. The show is apparently a “tongue-in-cheek look at twenty-something singles clubbing and partying in Los Angeles.”

Unfortunately, Greenfield didn’t become friends with Markle during the shoot. “Meghan and I, we didn't connect after that or during that,” he said. “Look, had I known, I maybe would’ve played my cards a little differently.”

The former “New Girl” star quickly pointed out that Corden is obviously closer to the royals. After all, he was at the wedding. Greenfield and fellow guest Maggie Siff (“Billions”) quickly started throwing questions at their host.

Corden revealed that he did buy a present for the newlyweds and joked it was a Keurig coffee machine. He tried to brush off the topic by simply saying it was fun, but the questions didn’t end there. Max wanted to know more about food options while Siff was interested in a possible gift registry. “No, of course, they didn’t. Well, if they did, we did not look at it,” Corden laughed.

Celebs have been notoriously tight-lipped about Meghan and Harry’s nuptials, which took place last year in Windsor, England. Though Corden has spoken about having an allergic reaction to flowers at the event, he actually has kept the details regarding what happened off camera under wraps.

Corden was rumored to be the life of the party at the Frogmore House reception. Express reports that the comedian acted as an MC during the reception, even having Prince Harry, Prince William and Prince Charles engage in a dance-off. However, Corden has not confirmed such reports.
