Jazz Jennings has had enough of all the negative comments she received for the snaps she recently shared on her Instagram account. So the trans teen clapped back at haters with a strong message of being herself.

Early this week, the “I Am Jazz” star decided to share some snaps of her posing by the lake and under a tree. In the pictures, the 18-year-old reality star is seen wearing some makeup and a blue dress with butterfly print.

While many of her fans praised her for the beautiful pictures, some gave her negative comments about her look. Jazz apparently did not like the criticisms, so she chose to address them with a powerful and lengthy post about appearances.

“LOL to those who think my photos are ridiculous and that I need to have perfect hair, makeup, wardrobe and high heels for every one of my pics. Yes, all of those things are great, and I love dressing up at times too, but it shouldn’t be a requirement for me to do so: as a woman or as a social influencer,” she wrote in her latest post.

She then called out the people who bashed her photos and told them to follow IG models if they are only after fashion, makeup and cute looks. Jazz noted that we should all “stop emphasizing appearances” and focus on understanding “peoples’ characters.”

“I doubt I would have half the following I have now if I wasn’t a cis-passing, moderately attractive trans girl. I’m sad to admit it, but these are the things we have to wake up to and be aware of,” she added.

Jazz made her clapback at her bashers days after boyfriend Ahmir Steward dropped some hints on social media that they may no longer be together. The Philadelphia native recently renamed his Instagram account to “He/She/They Idc.” and he also hinted at his single status.

“Although we may be single sometimes, we will be beautiful at all times. Everything is temporary,” he captioned a snap of him wearing a very serious expression.

It can be noted that before “I Am Jazz” Season 5 wrapped up, Jazz and Ahmir agreed on having a “no commitment” relationship since the trans teen was eager to see the world more and grow with other people after her bottom surgery.
