  • Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt will unite virtually for a live virtual table read of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"
  • Jimmy Kimmel, Julia Roberts, Morgan Freedman, Shia LaBeouf and more will join Pitt and Aniston for the table read

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will be teaming up with other big celebrities like Jimmy Kimmel and Julia Roberts for the live virtual table read of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High."

Pitt is joining his ex-wife on Friday for the virtual reading of the 1982 comedy. The exes will also be working with Kimmel, Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Dane Cook, Henry Golding and Sean Penn.

The virtual event aims to celebrate the "Fast Times at Ridgemont High's" 38th anniversary this month. It will be streamed on Facebook Live and TikTok on Friday night, Us Weekly reported.

The event will also serve as a fundraiser for two different nonprofits: CORE and REFORM Alliance. The former provides emergency relief amid the coronavirus pandemic while the latter focuses on criminal justice reform.

Earlier this year, “The Morning Show” star and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor made a public reunion at the SAG Awards. Their photos from the event sent their fans into a frenzy. The sighting also sparked rumors that Pitt and Aniston could be back together.

However, their reps denied the rekindled romance rumors. Also, several sources close to the two celebrities said they’re just friends.

Pitt and Aniston remained amicable following their divorce. Pitt already apologized to Aniston and she accepted it, according to one source. Also, it has been 10 years since their split and both have already moved on from each other.

“Brad is truly an introspective guy who has worked hard on himself. He has apologized to her for many things he felt were his issues in their relationship. He truly takes ownership for his mistakes and that has changed their relationship with each other today. They both have moved on,” the source said.

Another insider shared the same story about the former couple being good friends and nothing more than that because Aniston’s no longer interested in her ex-husband.

"Jennifer is not interested in Brad in a romantic sense or wanting to get back together with him. They are friends and hang out when they can and that’s all there is to it,” the tipster said.
