Jennifer Aniston Was Angry, Hurt, Embarrassed Over Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Romance

Jennifer Aniston once admitted that she had been hurt, angry and embarrassed over Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s romance.

Aniston and Pitt tied the knot in 2000 and divorced five years later. In their separation announcement, they said that they were parting ways amicably. However, shortly after she filed for divorce, Pitt was spotted frolicking at the beach with Angelina Jolie and her son, Maddox.

Aniston confessed that “the world was shocked, and I was shocked.” The “Murder Mystery” star didn’t hide her pain when she said that Pitt publicly flaunting his instant family with Jolie was humiliating for her.

“I would be a robot if I said I didn’t feel moments of anger, of hurt, of embarrassment,” Aniston confessed to Leslie Bennetts in an interview for Vanity Fair in 2006.

One of the “Friends” alum’s closest pals Andrea Bendewald said that it was “extremely hurtful” for Aniston to see Pitt with another woman quickly after they were separated. Although Aniston was grieving, she took the “high road.”

“She’s mourning the death of a marriage, and she’s done it very privately. She can have her moments of rage, but she doesn’t want to out him, and that keeps her heart clear. She’s not bad-mouthing him. She doesn’t want to make him the villain and her the victim,” Bendewald added.

At one point, Aniston criticized Jolie when she shared her excitement in working with Pitt for their film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004. The “Cake” actress said that it was “uncool” for Jolie to speak about it as at the time, Pitt and Aniston were still married.

It has been over 10 years since Pitt and Aniston separated. Pitt went on and married Jolie, but they also split in 2016. Meanwhile, Aniston got married with Justin Theroux, but their marriage also ended when they announced their separation in 2017.

At present, fans are hoping that Pitt and Aniston and would get back together. The exes have rekindled their friendship and have been spotted twice last year.

Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday bash and holiday party sparking romantic rumors. There are even speculations that Pitt and Aniston are moving in together. However, one should take the report with a grain of salt as their reps said that they are just friends and nothing more.
