The singer and actress pointed out how it is important to hold loved ones close at a time like this when everyone is facing an unprecedented challenge of the coronavirus.

Lopez shared a picture that shows Rodriguez sitting in a chair and reading a newspaper while she hugs him from behind. The headlines of the paper talks about the job losses in the U.S.  

“When the headlines look like this, it’s so important to hug the ones you love a little tighter and tell them how much you love them,” Lopez wrote in her post.

Rodriguez pointed out that people sometimes get so busy with their own lives that they forget how important it is to spend time with the family. “Don’t let this time pass by without making the most of it,” he said.

Rodriguez and Lopez are supposed to get married in 2020, but the pandemic and the consequent lockdown have affected their plans. The baseball player previously told ET Online that he and his partner met their core group of people who are helping them plan the wedding in a virtual meeting. The baseball player said that they have come up three or four variations of how things could turn out in the next 12 months, and they would decide on what to do based on the situation.
