On Monday morning, a new political ad for 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg was released. In it, TV personality Judge Judy Sheindlin voiced her support for the former mayor of New York City.

In the new 30-second commercial, she elaborated on why she has chosen to endorse him instead of Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, or any of the other people vying for the Democratic nomination.

"I like to say you can judge someone's character by what they've done. Mike Bloomberg has done amazing things and will be a truly great president," the TV judge said in the clip titled "Judge Him," adding, "No one comes close to Mike Bloomberg's executive achievement, government experience, and impactful philanthropy."

Continuing, she said that his "steady leadership" will "reunite our country and bring us through these very challenging times." The clip can be seen here.

This follows her first official endorsement of Bloomberg, which she announced in a USA Today op-ed on Oct. 19. At that time, she discussed making the choice to break her 50-year silence in terms of publicly revealing her political beliefs.

"I realize I am taking a personal and a career risk in making such a statement. I have carefully stayed away from politics for 50 years, except to vote. But times have changed in our country, and I believe the moment has come for me to step out from behind the curtain. I want to speak honestly and from the heart - regardless of the consequences," she wrote.

The "Judge Judy" host has since spoken to People about her decision. "There isn’t anybody that could compare to Mike Bloomberg,” she stated. She later revealed that she could "understand why people have gravitated to one or more of the current field" but that she believes the former NYC politician is "the only one who has the experience to hit the ground running."

Sheindlin is set to appear on ABC's "The View" on Monday to further discuss her choice to speak out about the 2020 race and her candidate of choice to oppose President Donald Trump in the next election.
