Kate Middleton attended her father’s birthday with three kids but without Prince William.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s father celebrated his 70th birthday over the weekend. According to Express’ Carly Read, Middleton attended Michael Middleton’s birthday bash with her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However, the Duke of Cambridge reportedly didn’t make it to the family celebration.

Middleton’s siblings James and Pippa were also present. Pippa’s son Arthur was also likely to have attended the event. Michael’s birthday comes exactly a week after he and Carole celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.

On Friday, Prince William also celebrated his 37th birthday. According to an insider, Middleton and her kids gave the future king a memorable present for his special day. Their gift featured the children’s drawings, collages, prints and pictures of the whole family.

“Kate and the children have been compiling a large album of the children’s paintings, drawings and collages and prints,” a source told The Sun.

“They reflect what they have been doing over the past year. You can look at any event they were involved with as a family and there will probably be a picture, drawing, print or photo.”

The insider pointed out that Middleton and the kids’ present to Prince William took a great deal of time and effort to make, so it means something. It’s a reminder to the future king what really is important.

The Duke of Cambridge also received warm greetings from the royal fans on his special day. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were criticized for the way they greeted Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t post a special tribute to Prince William. Instead, they just commented on Kensington Palace’s post on Instagram and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the Duke of Cambridge.” Many deemed their message “cold” and “useless.”

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Prince Harry and Markle deliberately snubbed Prince William with their move. She added that what they did was “pretty rude” and could be construed as “purposeful.”
