Khloe Kardashian has shared more details about her bout with COVID-19.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum, 37, reconnected with her fans Tuesday night in a Twitter Space chat, where she revealed one side effect of COVID-19 that she experienced when she contracted the virus around March 2020.

"My hair really fell out with COVID," she was quoted by People as saying. "So after, it was really a struggle for a minute."

The topic came up while Kardashian was discussing New Zealand-based brand Dose & Co, for which she's a global spokesperson. According to her, the company's collagen powder has "helped me so, so much" in stimulating hair growth since she recovered from her bout with the coronavirus.

"I do the powder, just because that's what we had for so long, and I take so many vitamins a day, it's just so easy for me," Kardashian said.

Kardashian also shared that, unlike some patients, she didn't lose her sense of taste and smell when she had COVID-19. "But I had everything else — like anything else you can imagine," she added.

Around 33% of COVID-19 patients surveyed by Indiana University experienced temporary hair loss as a symptom, according to a pre-print study. Stress usually triggers hair loss, and severe illnesses like COVID-19 can stress out the body.

Kardashian's COVID-19 battle was first revealed on their now-defunct reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

"Just found out that I do have corona," she said in a self-recorded clip released in October. "I have been in my room. It's gonna be fine, but it was really bad for a couple of days."

Kim Kardashian said at the time that she and the rest of the family were anxious, while their mom, Kris Jenner, said she's been trying to find a doctor who could help Khloe.

"We're just anxiously awaiting the results for Khloe to see if she has it or not," Kim said. "I mean, my gut tells me she does just because she's so sick. And that really scares me for her, 'cause I can tell that she's now getting scared and that she's really nervous about it."

Khloe's symptoms included vomiting, coughing, shaking, hot and cold flashes and a headache she said was unlike her usual migraines.

"We're all gonna get through this. Praying that if we follow orders and listen we're all gonna be okay," Khloe said at the time. "May God bless us all."

Later in the episode, it was revealed that both Kim and her then-husband Kanye West had tested positive for the virus as well.
