Kim Cattrall is letting fans know how she feels about her absence from the "Sex and the City" reboot "And Just Like That" after it premiered on HBO Max Thursday.

The 65-year-old actress, who has been vocal about not wanting to reprise her role as Samantha Jones in any future project for the franchise, liked a few tweets from fans who expressed support for her decision not to appear in "And Just Like That," Page Six reported.

"Kim Cattrall didn't return to SATC because her scatting career is finally taking off," read one tweet she liked. Another tweet stated, "And just like that… I find myself only wanting to watch anything @KimCattrall is in. This is a Kim appreciation tweet."

"@KimCattrall I am such a fan. With the #SATC reboot happening, they keep bringing you up. I applaud you for making choices that are right for you," said another tweet that received a "like" from Cattrall. "You are not required to do anything you don’t want to do or that won’t make you happy. Looking forward to you on #QAF happy holidays!"

The actress also liked a tweet from publicist Emily Shapiro, who listed off "pop culture news items" she was "over" with, including Cattrall not being in the "Sex and the City" reboot.

While Cattrall chose not to sign on for the HBO Max revival, the other three original actresses, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, reprised their "Sex and the City" roles for "And Just Like That."

In the premiere episode, Carrie (Parker) mentioned that Samantha was "no longer with us." A conversation between Carrie and Miranda (Nixon) later revealed that Samantha cut ties with Carrie and moved to London after the latter let her go as her publicist.

"I told her that because of what the book business is now, it just didn't make sense for me to keep her on as a publicist," Carrie said. "She said fine, and then fired me as a friend."

Miranda stuck up for Samantha, saying that their friend's "pride got damaged."

However, Carrie expressed her disappointment over Samantha ignoring her calls, saying, "Look, I understand that she was upset, but I thought I was more to her than an ATM. I always thought the four of us would be friends forever."

The premiere episode also concluded with the shocking death of Carrie's love, Mr. Big (Chris Noth). In the second episode of "And Just Like That," Carrie finally "hears" from Samantha. She sent Carrie a white casket arrangement for Big's funeral and a note that read, "Love, Samantha."

Cattrall said in an interview with Piers Morgan in 2017 that her relationship with her "Sex and the City" co-stars was toxic and that they had "never been friends." Parker denied that there was any bad blood between them, but Cattrall once called her out in a post on Instagram in 2018.

"Let me make this VERY clear (if I haven't already). You are not my family. You are not my friend," Cattrall wrote on Instagram after Parker offered her condolences following the death of Cattrall's brother. "So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy to restore your 'nice girl' persona."

"And Just Like That" releases new episodes every Thursday on HBO Max.
