Kim Kardashian has a lot of things to be grateful for, but the star revealed that something she holds most dear to her heart is her reality show.

The mother of two actually credits the series with bringing her personal life together. During an interview with the “Today” show’s Megyn Kelly for the 10-year anniversary and 14th season of her reality series, Kim revealed that her experiences on the show, both good and bad, have helped shaped who she is.

“Even my worst experiences, I feel like have taught me so much,” the star explained.

“I don’t think if I was doing what I would be doing now I would’ve met my husband. I wouldn’t have my babies. We’ve traveled the world. I don’t think we ever would’ve been to the places that we’ve been to,” she added.

One of the “worst experiences” that the star is referring to was her 2016 trip to Paris, where she was robbed at gunpoint. Prior to the traumatic experience, Kim revealed that she always felt secure in her lifestyle. “I never really felt unsafe,” she revealed.

“I always felt like I lived in a bubble. I had security. I live in a gated community. I felt like I was safe. And that was such an eye-opener for me — that just life has to change,” she said.

Following the incident, the “KUWTK” cameras were there to capture Kim’s post-robbery journey, which was highly criticized, with some believing it was a publicity stunt so the famous family could gain more attention.

Despite the mixed responses, Kim insisted that she is proud of the moments she and her family members experienced. “I think we’ve honestly, through our show, we’ve shown so much more positive things ... even from Kendall and Kylie’s dad (Caitlyn Jenner) transitioning and people not knowing how to handle that and how to deal with that,” she explained.

“(The detractors) only want to focus on, ‘Oh, they’re superficial. Oh, they’re wearing makeup. Oh, they’re this,’” Kim continued.

Aside from the sometimes negative comments, “KUWTK” has managed to run for a successful 13 seasons, and has spawned six spinoff shows starring various members of the family.

Through the many years, viewers were able to witness Kim’s high-profile relationships to athletes like Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries, as well as the development of her eventual relationship with Kanye West.

The show also shared Kim’s pregnancy journey with her first child North, 4, followed by her extravagant wedding to West and eventually, her second pregnancy with her son, Saint, 22 months.

Kardashian is said to have a third child via a surrogate on the way, but the star has yet to confirm the rumors. In the trailer for “KUWTK” Season 14, Kim is seen showing her sister Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, a room in her house. When he tells her he doesn’t know what the room is for, she tells him it’s a nursery, which makes Scott question if a third baby is on the way.

Fans will just have to wait to find out the truth when “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 14 airs, on Sunday, Oct. 1 on E!
