Kim Kardashian finally joined Snapchat months after she first teased her fans if she should make an account on the picture sharing application. Kardashian announced the news on her Twitter page and asked her fans to add her.

Kardashian also shared a photo with her sister Kourtney Kardashian, making it her first Snapchat photo.

Kim’s entry to Snapchat comes as her younger sister Kylie Jenner revealed last year that the 18-year-old teenager was the most watched person on the application, the Mirror reported. So far, Kim has more followers (41.5 million) than Jenner (14.7 million) on Twitter. However, the gap between the two is lesser on Instagram as Kim has 62.9 million followers while Jenner has 53.7 million followers.

Kim’s Snapchat announcement comes after she shared a nude photo of herself on Twitter, triggering flak from several celebrities and users. The photo also led to a feud between Kim and the 70-year-old actress Bette Midler, who slammed the selfie.

Midler said: “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera.”

Kim replied to her saying: “Hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding… hey @BetteMidler I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu.” Midler lashed back again at Kim clarifying that she never tried to befriend Kim.

Chloë Grace Moretz, 19, also commented on the nude photo by Kim and said: “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.”

However, Kim responded to the tweet saying: “Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.”
