Tom Cullen as Landry
The Brotherhood of Light kidnaps and tortures Landry (Tom Cullen) in Season 1, episode 6 of History’s “Knightfall.” History/Larry Horricks

Can the Templars find Landry before it’s too late?

According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 6 of History’s “Knightfall,” Landry (Tom Cullen) is kidnapped and tortured by a mysterious group.

In the trailer for the episode, a trapped Landry is seen struggling underwater. At one point, he’s also seen being hung by the neck as he tries to keep his feet on a piece of rock.

At the end of last episode, Landry was taken by the Brotherhood of Light, which is headed by a man named Rashid (Akin Gazi). Rashid is the father of the Saracen who died at the hands of Tancrede (Simon Merrells). Landry had wanted to talk to the Brotherhood of Light since they killed Godfrey (Sam Hazeldine), but Rashid insisted that he would only speak to the Master Templar after they got the body of his son.

Although Draper (Nasser Memarzia) didn’t think that returning the Saracen’s body was a good idea, Landry ordered Draper to bring the body back. “[It’s] the man’s child. It’s his flesh and blood. He’ll want to bury him. Give him the body,” Landry told Draper.

But hours after getting the body of his son, Rashid and his fellow members of the Brotherhood abducted Landry. Although Rashid told Landry that they’re just going to talk, the trailer suggests that they kidnap Landry to seek revenge for the death of the Saracen.

When the Templars notice Landry’s disappearance, Gawain (Pádraic Delaney) quickly launches a search mission. “Landry is missing. Take every available man. Find your master,” Gawain says in the trailer.

Elsewhere in the next episode, a Knight is expelled from the Templars. While the synopsis doesn’t reveal who that Knight is, events in the last episode suggest that it’s none other than Tancrede. As mentioned earlier, Tancrede killed the Saracen. Although Landry repeatedly asked Tancrede to repent his sin, the latter refused, insisting that what he did was for the welfare of the Templars.

Also in the upcoming episode, De Nogaret (Julian Ovenden) builds an army, and Princess Isabella (Sabrina Bartlett) discovers who betrayed her.

In the trailer, Isabella finally finds out that it was De Nogaret who told Queen Elena of Catalonia (Claudia Bassols) that she and Prince Lluis of Catalonia (Marcos Franz) had shared the bed prior to their supposed wedding. As De Nogaret tries to explain why he has a peephole into her room, Isabella wastes no time and slaps him in the face. Is this going to be the end of De Nogaret and Isabella’s secret partnership?
