“Life of Kylie” star Kylie Jenner was supposed to have an interview with Megyn Kelly of “Today,” but the reality star backed out at the last minute because she was reportedly afraid to answer some of Kelly’s hard-hitting questions.

The rest of the family came through with their part of the interview. Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Kendall were all taped and their interview was aired on Wednesday. But Kylie was noticeably missing.

A source told Page Six that “Kylie bailed” because she was terrified of Kelly’s questions. “She was all set to do the interview with her sisters, and she arrived to the location, ready to go,” the source said. “Then she bailed at the last minute because she thought the questions were going to be too tough.”

When asked for a comment, Kylie’s camp was unavailable to provide any. It was Kendall who came to her younger sister’s defense when it came to the family’s haters. “My little sister has an insane business… Anyone who says they don’t want their kid to be like that… is insane to me,” she said.

Kylie, the youngest of the highly controversial Kardashian-Jenner clan, has faced criticisms left and right because her face has changed drastically over the years. People claimed she had face surgery, but the lip kit mogul denied these allegations and only admitted to having lip injections, since she felt very insecure about her thin lips. “It has been an insecurity of mine all my life,” she said.

The only reason she kept the lip injections a secret from the rest of the world was because she was concerned about the negative message she would be sending to her young fans about their self-esteem.

“I wasn’t even 17 yet,” she said during an interview with Complex Magazine. “What if I came out and said, ‘Oh, yeah, I got my lips done’? What are all those moms going to think about me? These kids, my fans, they’re going to think I’m crazy. I didn’t want to be a bad influence.”
