The much-awaited fifth season of the hit anime series “My Hero Academia” is reportedly coming in Spring 2021, but ahead of its official release, a new trailer teases the debut of a new hero.

A few days ago, “My Hero Academia” rolled out the first teaser trailer of the anime series’ Season 5. The 41-minute footage is loaded with lots of characters sporting new looks. Interestingly, one of them is Hitoshi Shinso, which many fans assumed is debuting his hero in the upcoming season.

The latest “My Hero Academia” Season 5 teaser trailer shows the big battle between heroes of Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Their new looks hint that fans might finally see the heroes’ new gear in action. Both the upcoming season’s teaser trailer and the poster features Shinso and since he does not belong to either of these classes, the general assumption is that he will get his break in the anime’s fifth season.

“My Hero Academia” Season 5 is anticipated to adopt the Joint Training arc. It is expected to feature major training sessions between Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Shinso is from U.A. High School's General Department from Class 1-C. It seems that he will serve as the anchor of the arc as he would bein the hero exercises in an attempt to transfer from the general course.

Hitoshi Shinso was first launched at the UA Sports Festival. His Brainwashing quirk almost eliminated Deku during their match. Unlike other heroes in the series, Shinso lacked direct combat abilities and solely depended on his Quirk in battles. It is interesting to see how Shinso develops into a hero in the upcoming season.

“My Hero Academia” Season 5 is also anticipated to pick up the cliffhanger that fans saw from the anime’s fourth season. Deku was presumably dreaming in the previous season when he saw a vision of a mysterious void where the previous bearers of One for All reside. The upcoming season is anticipated to shed more light on One for All and even the enemy’s power All for One.
