A teaser was recently leaked on social media hinting that the next game is arriving at PlayStation Plus. All clues point towards “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” as the newest game to appear on the online store. The teaser was leaked initially on Instagram, and later, posted on Twitter.

On Monday, “Call of Duty: WWII” was announced as the first game to arrive on PS Plus starting in June 2020, IGN reported. More details will be coming later this week, according to the leaked information.

Going back to “Star Wars: Battlefront 2,” this game had considerably divided fans the moment it came out, but has since gained more favorable reviews. According to Comic Book, this can be seen in an online petition asking Electronic Arts and DICE for more exclusive paid DLC. It has already gained 50,000 signatures and the number continues to climb.

When "Battlefront 2" first came out, players noticed how terrible the monetization system was. They also pointed out that it had a terrible “loot box” system in place. It was so bad that the game caught even the attention of the government and mainstream media. Despite these problems, players bought it solely on the strength and appeal of its namesake, “Star Wars.”

Players have also begun to come back to the FPS game. Today, it has grown to be one of many great multiplayer games active on the market, despite EA Games seemingly distancing itself from the issue by showing “lack of support” for its title.

In late April, fans also received more content through the “final regular content” update. This coincided with the release of content from “The Rise of Skywalker,” which saw Kylo Ren and Rey fight alongside Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. The “regular content” featured the Battle of Scarif update, integrating content found in the “Rogue One” film into the game.
