The Legends are heading to 1870 in next week’s episode of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to the synopsis for Season 3, episode 2 of the CW series, the Legends travel back to 1870 to fix the anachronism which happens to be at P.T. Barnum’s (Billy Zane) fledgling circus. However, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) accidentally free a saber-toothed tiger, creating a bigger problem.

In the trailer for the episode, the saber-toothed tiger is seen inside the Waverider. While it’s unclear how the extinct predator gets into the time ship, one thing is for sure, P.T. Barnum is on the hunt to capture Nate and Ray to make his show even more exciting for the crowd.

The episode serves as a reunion of sorts for Zane and series regular Victor Garber, who both starred in the 1997 film “Titanic.” Zane played the fictional role of Caledon “Cal” Hockley in the James Cameron movie, while Garber — who plays Stein/one-half of Firestorm on “Legends of Tomorrow” — portrayed the real-life role of Thomas Andrews, the head of the drafting department of the shipbuilding company that built the Titanic.

“Obviously, we couldn’t resist putting Victor Garber and Billy Zane back on screen for the first time since the ‘Titanic,’” executive producer Phil Klemmer told Entertainment Weekly when announcing Zane’s casting last June. “But I’ve wanted to bring Billy onto ‘Legends’ every since I saw him in a friend’s comedy pilot. I’m not sure that people know how funny Billy is, although we cast him as P.T. Barnum because we knew that he would be able to find the soul beneath the larger-than-life showman.”

“It was great — it was so much fun,” Garber previously told Comicbook.com of working with Zane again after so many years. “I actually only knew he was doing it when I walked up to the production office and saw the cast photos on the wall and was going one by one, wondering if I knew anybody form this episode — and there he was, and I was thrilled to see him!”

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3, episode 2, titled “Freakshow,” airs on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
