In the promo trailer for episode 3, the inmate Aaron is about to represent has doubts about his law degree. He questions him how he got his degree in prison. However, he wants to represent this new client as his brother is in the force.

Meanwhile, District Attorney Maskins and Assistant District Attorney O’Reilly are close to finding dirt on Aaron during Jose Rodriguez’s trial. They will go after Marie in order to take Aaron down.

Let’s have a look at what went down in “For Life” Season 1 episode 2. Aaron received help from a lot of people in his first case. It was time for him to pay back as that’s how things function in the prison. He took up a case representing a white supremacist, namely, Joey Knox. He was accused of harming a guard. There was video evidence against Knox that showed his attack was unprovoked. This made matters difficult for Aaron’s client.

Aaron tried to win the warden’s trust and she allowed him to examine the footage. In the meantime, Aaron also focussed on his case and accused the NYPD of withholding details about his arrests. He claimed that the department had ulterior motives. In the upcoming episode, he will strive harder to get his case file which is not being shared with him. Can Aaron access his case file while representing his clients in the prison?
