Amy Roloff opens up about her relationship with Chris Marek in a “Little People, Big World” Season 12 preview. TLC

Amy Roloff’s happily taken, but the “Little People, Big World” star never thought an average-sized man would be interested in her. She and husband Matt Roloff officially divorced in May 2016, after which the mother of four hopped back in the dating pool.

Amy will open up about boyfriend Chris Marek during an upcoming episode of “Little People, Big World” Season 12. In a preview for the episode, featured on People magazine, Amy admits that she gets “nervous” while speaking with her beau. She then shares fears that he’ll “question or doubt” their relationship because of her stature.

“I just never thought someone who is average size would be interested in me,” she shares in the “Little People, Big World” clip. “I just really want him to never question or doubt the relationship because I’m a little person.”

Although they’re divorced, Amy and Matt still find themselves in situations together frequently because of their family. The pair appeared in a “Little People, Big World” Season 12 preview together, discussing their fears about Zach and Tori Roloff’s son Jackson’s stature. Matt wasn’t sweating Jackson’s size, telling “Little People, Big World” viewers he’d love him unconditionally regardless.

“Doesn’t really matter. I’m going to be excited either one,” Matt said (via Us Weekly). “I have a feeling it might be LP [little person], you know, from the ultrasound. I’m not an expert, but I’m feeling some LP coming on.”

Both Amy and Matt continue to appear on “Little People, Big World.” It’s unclear how much of their respective relationships will be featured on the show. Matt is thought to be dating Caryn Chandler, his personal assistant.

Amy wasn’t thrilled about the relationship. In May 2017, she discussed the shock she felt upon finding out. Amy said during a confessional interview that it “threw me for a loop.”

“I think coming here to this particular event [Tori’s gender reveal party] is an intimate family thing...It just throws a whole different dynamic to my life here on the farm,” she said.

Zach was equally uncomfortable with the situation, but kept tight lipped. While he didn’t want to comment on it too much, as his “parents are divorced,” he seemed uncomfortable with Caryn going from employee to part of the family. Zach didn’t comment on the nature of their relationship at the time.

“Caryn’s part of the Roloff farm operation. As far as their relationship goes, I don’t have anything to say about it,” he said. “My parents are divorced, so...yeah.”

Chris confirmed his relationship with Amy in January. After being briefly introduced at the end of “Little People, Big World” Season 11, he told Radar Online, “We’re officially dating, yes.” Chris opened up about their relationship, assuring the public that things were going swimmingly between he and the Roloff family matriarch.

“It’s been fun!Amy and I are getting along great,” he said.

“Little People, Big World” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
