“Love, Victor” is coming back for a third season on Hulu after its second run earned a 100% rating among critics.

The renewal of the coming-of-age drama was announced by the Disney-backed streamer Friday via The Hollywood Reporter.

Unlike other streaming services, Hulu does not release viewership data on its titles. However, it appears that the LGBTQ-themed show is getting positive responses from viewers and critics based on its Rotten Tomatoes standing.

On the review-aggregation website for film and television, the sophomore run of “Love, Victor” has earned a 100% critics rating and a 92% audience score. It can be noted that the show’s first season garnered a 90% critics rating and a 93% audience score.

Made by “This Is Us” co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, “Love, Victor” stars Michael Cimino in the titular role of Victor Salazar, a gay teenager who is navigating his life and sexuality after moving into a new town.

The 21-year-old recently celebrated the show’s renewal by sharing a montage of clips from Season 2 on Instagram and teasing fans that they will surely find out who was behind the door in the finale’s cliffhanger when Season 3 arrives.

“I GUESS WE WILL FIND OUT WHOS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR,” he wrote in the caption along with the hashtag “Season3.”

Aside from Cimino, the show also stars George Sear as Victor’s boyfriend Benji, Ana Ortiz as Victor’s mom Isabel, James Martinez as the protagonist’s father Armando and Isabela Ferreira and Mateo Fernandez as the Salazar siblings Pilar and Adrian. Anthony Turpel is also part of the project as Victor’s best friend Felix, according to TV Line.

“Love, Victor” premiered on Hulu on June 17, 2020, as a spinoff to the 2018 movie “Love, Simon.” It officially came back with a second season this June, only to introduce a new love interest for Victor, Anthony Keyvan’s Rahim.

The second installment mainly revolved around the love triangle between Victor, Benji and Rahim, and it culminated with Victor having to choose between the two. However, viewers were left with a cliffhanger when the finale ended with Victor standing in front of a door, with no clue who was behind it.

Information on “Love, Victor” Season 3’s episode count, return date and confirmed cast have yet to be disclosed.
